To guarantee high quality, honey undergoes the following stages of control:

1. Apiary is inspected twice a year for compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements in accordance with the approved Hygienic requirements for facilities where beekeeping products are produced. Successful completion of the inspection is indicated by a mark in the apiary passport.

2. During the procurement process, our laboratory staff monitors the quality of honey:

  • checking for the presence of 10 antibiotics or residues of veterinary drugs;
  • compliance of the physicochemical indicators of honey with the requirements of the standards, in particular, humidity, diastase activity, oxymethylfurfural concentration, etc.;
  • naturalness of honey and compliance with the declared type, conducting pollen analysis.

3. After the technological process is completed, samples are taken for quality control in the production laboratory and sent for testing to the testing center of the State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise in Kyiv.

In 2016, the company was certified for the first time by the Austrian auditing firm TÜV SÜD. Annual audits of the food safety management system help to meet international quality standards at every stage of the technological process. The company is currently certified for compliance with the ISO 22000:2018 standard.
